London and provide an inventory service to
letting agents, property management
companies and private landlords within Kent,
and Greater and Central London.
Accurate and well-documented inventories are
essential in order to safeguard ones property.
Digital photographs are supplied in order to
protect our clients in the unlikely event of their
being a dispute between landlord and tenant.
At the commencement of the tenancy Compass Inventories will fully inspect the property and compare it to
the master inventory. Any variations will be noted in full and a schedule of condition and cleanliness will be
provided and signed by the tenant if present. Meter readings will be taken and recorded on the document
along with the names, where possible of the relevant utility providers. All keys, including garage, front and
back door will be listed and signed over to the tenant on completion of the check in.
On termination of the tenancy a comparison is made with the original inventory. The check-out report will
detail all changes to the state of the property including cleanliness and any damage, meter readings and
all recommendations will be noted in full on our check-out report.
